Home Sensor Adjustment
NOTE: Following adjustments should only be performed by a qualified service technician!
The Home Position Sensor is used for the tamp presence check. The home position is located
where a label is ejected to the tamp plate. From this position the tamp extents to the product to
apply a label. After the tamp has returned to home the V40 controller receives a signal from the
home sensor and “H” appears on the display. With this a complete cycle is performed.
CAUTION ! Disconnect the compressed air, before performing the following
steps.
To Check Home Sensor Adjustment
For the home sensor adjustment ensure that the air pressure is not connected to the machine in
order to move the tamp manually into the home position. For a proper adjustment the „H“ will be
displayed just before the tamp is in the end position and continuously the tamp is in home
position.
Please perform the following if an adjustment is necessary
1. Push the tamp into the home position.
2. Loosen the threaded pin.
