READY Relay (Outputs of X9)
When the controller is in normal operating conditions the READY relay is active and the warning
lights (if fitted) appears green. The relay is deactivated when an error occurs or the user
changes the display controller into an edit mode (e.g. Programming mode,…). This causes also
a change from green to red of the warning lights.
The READY relay contains 2 separate switches with each “common”, a “normally open (N.O.)”
and a “normally close (N.C.)” contact. The voltage free contacts are provided to connect to
customer PLC.
SYNC Relay (Outputs of X9)
The SYNC relay is fundamentally active when the machine is ready to cycle the application.
During the system performs an application the signal state changes. Note that its signal output
depends on the setting of “SYNC” in Programming Mode of display controller. Due to this
reason, please compare to the description of Chapter Display Controller on page 71, when the
SYNC-Relay is active.
The synchronize relay contains 2 separate switches with each “common”, a “normally open
(N.O.)” and a “normally close (N.C.)” contact. The voltage free contacts are provided to
connecting to customer PLC (e.g. conveyer control).
Low Label Relay (Outputs of X9)
For its function please refer to page 33. Its relay contains 2 separate switches with each
“common”, a “normally open (N.O.)” and a “normally close (N.C.)” contact. The voltage free
contacts are provided to connecting to customer PLC.
