Address 248 (Page 0), home detection timeout
This parameter is only used to be in touch with a tamp applicator, which contains a sensor for
locating that the piston is completely retracted. Its delay has to contain the retract time of tamp.
0 248 = Value
for currently selected the timeout for home detection.
00
= no detection
01 – 255
= value x 100ms
Address 249 (Page 0), tamp extension time
This parameter is only used to be in touch with a tamp applicator. Its time controls the cylinder
valve which is activated at the end of the dispensing phase, possibly after having checked label
presence and/or following a trigger signal from the secondary product sensor (selected by bits 5
and 1 of parameter at address 02) for a time specified by this parameter.
Depending on the value of Address 02, it starts the moment of activation of the blow-valve
before retracting the Tamp.
0 249 = Value
for currently selected tamp to blow delay
00
= no tamp action performed
01 – 255
= value x 10ms
Address 250 (Page 0), proximity timeout
This parameter is only used to be in touch with a tamp applicator with proximity sensor.
A "product proximity" sensor can be optionally mounted on the application plate to allow
automatic adaptation of the stroke length to variable product distance.
Its value defines the maximum time allowed to detect product proximity, which triggers label
blow and piston retraction. If the sensor does not activate within this time, an error (“MISSING
PRODUCT”) is generated.
To enable this working mode, the parameter at address 249 (fixed stroke time) must me set to a
low value (typically 01).
0 250 = Value
for currently selected proximity timeout
00
= no proximity check
01 – 255
= value x 100ms
