Product Detection Setup
This part covers the setup and adjustment procedures for the product detector. It explains how
to position the applicator and adjust its sensitivity.
Positioning the Applicator
The applicator needs to be in a position to properly apply a label to the product. Make sure that
all the moving parts have enough clearance to avoid any obstacles in the area and refer to
setup information of the respective applicator on the pages before.
The product must be repeatedly fed into the applicator in order to attain label placement
accuracy.
Mount the product detector and its reflector (if used) before adjusting the product detector
sensitivity. The detector may need to be relocated when actual products are being labelled. For
detector sensitivity setup, please refer to your Sensor Manual.
Product Detector Position
1. Position a product in front of the applicator (tamp pad, peeling blade of Wipe-On or the grid
of Blow-Blow) so that the product will be labeled in the correct position.
