Tamp-Blow Setup
Includes the explanations of all relevant procedures to setup the optional Tamp Blow
applicators.
NOTE: The setup should only be performed by a qualified service technician!
Vacuum Setup
The vacuum is used to hold the label under the tamp plate and it’s adjustable by using a flow
control valve. The vacuum adjustment can be made by a screw driver which has to be put
through a small hole, located on the back of pneumatic cabinet (red arrow, see Fig. 5-11).
Fig. 5-11: Vacuum Regulator
1. Turn the vacuum regulator clockwise until the valve is closed and the vacuum is completely
off.
2. Press the [Enter] key to dispense a label. Hold it against the tamp pad with your finger.
3. Slowly turn the vacuum regulator to increase the vacuum until you can feel it holding the
label as you pull your finger away. This should require only low vacuum of course
depending on the size of the label.
