3. Preliminary Setup
The preliminary setup includes all the procedures that can be done before the
AC power is connected to the machine. The machine enclosure must be
removed before working on some of these procedures.
Use caution when removing the enclosure. All safety warnings must be followed.
Applicator Unpacking, Mounting and Transportation
The machine can be mounted on different Machine Supports.
 WARNING! Approximate weight of ALPHA V40 is about 25 Kg.
 Read this set of instructions entirely before opening the applicator package:
1. Remove the applicator from the packaging
2. Two people should lift the applicator from the carton, grasping the unwind-arm and chassis
at marked positions (see red arrows on Fig. 3-1).
