23.3 Accessing the PX8000 from a PC (FTP Server)
This section explains the following settings for accessing the PX8000 from a PC on a network.
• User name
• Password
• Timeout
• Starting an FTP Client

UTILITY Network Menu
Press UTILITY an then the Network soft key to display the following menu.
Configure the FTP server settings.

Press the FTP Server soft key to display the following screen.
Settings for accessing the PX8000 from a PC
Apply the settings.
• User name (up to 15 characters)
• Password (up to 15 characters)
• Set the timeout value (30-3600 s).
Starting an FTP Client
Start an FTP client on a PC.
Enter the user name and password that you entered on the screen shown above to connect to the
PX8000.
Note
If you set the user name to “anonymous,” you can connect to the PX8000 without entering a password.
