24.9 Locking the Keys
This section explains how to lock the panel keys, which prevents you from unintentionally changing the
current state of the PX8000.

Key Lock (KEY PROTECT)
Press KEY PROTECT to lock the panel keys. The KEY PROTECT key illuminates. When the keys are
locked, pressing any keys other than KEY PROTECT has no effect. Press KEY PROTECT again to
release the key lock and enable the panel keys. The KEY PROTECT key turns off.
Note
When the keys are locked, you cannot use a USB mouse or keyboard to operate the PX8000 either.
