7.2 Setting the Calculation Period
This section explains the following settings for measuring and computing measurement functions of
normal measurement.
• Calculation period
• External signal status
• Cursor start and end points
• Search zero cross

NUMERIC Menu
Press NUMERIC to display the following menu.
Set the external signal status

Calculation period
(Zero Cross, Ext Gate, Cursor)
Set Numeric Measure to ON.
When the calculation period is Ext Gate
When the calculation period is Cursor
Set the cursor start and end points.
Set the search zero cross
Setting Search Zero Cross (Search Zero Cross)
Press the Search Zero Cross soft key to display the following menu.
Set the zero-crossing search
source.
Set the cursor start and end points.
When End Position is selected for the cursor
start and end point setting
When both Start Position and End Position are
selected for the cursor start and end point setting
When Start Position is selected for the cursor start and end point setting
Set the edge.
Moves to the nearest zero-crossing
position after the Start Position
Moves to the nearest zero-crossing
position before the Start Position
Moves to the nearest zero-crossing
position after the End Position
Moves to the nearest zero-crossing
position before the End Position
Moves to the nearest zero-crossing
position after the Start Position
while maintaining the cursor span
Moves to the nearest zero-crossing
position before the Start Position
while maintaining the cursor span
