5.5.9 Printhead Fan
Step 1. Locate the Printhead Fan (circled below).
Step 2. With a TORX T10 driver, remove the two screws (SCR, PLAST, 4-1.0L, 5.5 in-lb)
that hold the Printhead Fan in place.
Step 3. Cut the cable ties holding the various wires and connectors going to the Main
PCBA.
Step 4. Disconnect the 2-wire Printhead Fan plug from connector J25 on the Main
PCBA.
Step 5. Remove the Printhead Fan.
NOTE • This procedure uses Spare Kit # P1031925-071: KIT,COOLING FANS.
