5: Replacement Procedures

5.5.30 Ribbon Take-Up Motor
Step 1. Locate the Ribbon Take-Up Motor (circled below).

Step 2. With a TORX T7 driver, remove the screw (SCR, PLAST, 2-.25, 2.5 in-lb) holding
the Gear in place; circled below. Remove the Gear.
Step 3. Remove the clip (arrow above) holding the lower pulley in place, then remove
the pulley and associated O-ring belt.
NOTE • This procedure uses Spare Kit # P1031925-019: KIT, MOTOR FOR RIBBON.
