1.8 Overview of the accessory box
The accessory box provides an area for storing and trans-
porting consumables needed for performing point-of-
care blood glucose tests.
1.9 Reagents and consumables
You need the following reagents to perform patient tests
and glucose control tests:
Accu-Chek Inform II Test Strips
Accu-Chek Inform II Control Solutions: Available
for purchase separately, consists of two 2.5 mL
bottles. One bottle contains the Level 1 (Lo) control,
while the other bottle contains the Level 2 (Hi)
control.
Accu-Chek Linearity Kit (if required by your facility
guidelines): Available for purchase separately,
contains six 2.5 mL bottles. These bottles span
the glucose range in six levels (L1 to L6).
Your facility provides additional consumables such as
blood collection supplies. Observe the current rules and
safety guidelines for collecting and handling blood
samples.
