4.2 Performing glucose control tests
Overview of test procedure A glucose control test using control solution comprises
the following steps:
■ Select the desired level of control solution for the
test.
■ Check the lot number of the control solution.
■ Check the lot number of the test strips.
■ Perform the test with the control solution.
The result must fall within the specified range (as shown
on the label of the test strip vial or defined per configura-
tion) for the control test to be completed successfully.
Patient tests can now be performed (again).
