GPS Mode parameter
— current GPS mode of the receiver.
•
PDOP (Positional Dilution of Precision)
— measure of the strength of the satellite configuration. When
visible GPS satellites are close together in the sky, the geometry is weak and the DOP value is high;
when far apart, the geometry is strong and the DOP value is low. Thus a low DOP value represents a
better GPS positional accuracy.
•
Heading
— heading of the vehicle in degrees
•
Height
— vehicle’s altitude above sea level
•
# of satellites
— number of satellites being tracked by the receiver
•
Vehicle Position
— latitude and longitude of the vehicle
