DELETING PROGRAMS
It could be that you load some programs but, for one reason or another, you don’t require them
and so you wish to delete them to clear memory. In the main SINGLE screen, pressing PAGE
DOWN also gives access to a delete function:
Pressing F2 will show this screen:
You may choose to delete either the program name shown on the top line or all programs
sharing the same program number as that shown on the top line. To select the program or
program number for deletion, use the DATA wheel. Press F1 or F2 depending on whether you
want to delete a single program or ALL programs sharing the program number displayed in the
top right of the display. Press PAGE UP to exit this screen and return to the main SINGLE
mode screen.
Pressing F1 - PROGRAM - will delete the program
name
that is shown (in this case, BIG
STRINGS). If this is not the program you wish to delete, use the DATA wheel to select the
program you want to get rid of. Once you have selected the program you wish to delete, press
F1 (PROGRAM). You will receive this prompt:
Press F1 to delete the program or F2 to cancel.
NOTE: Please be careful here. If the program you are deleting is not saved, it will be lost
forever should you proceed and press F1 (GO).
In the case where several programs share the same program number, you may wish to delete
all of them in one hit. To do this, in the DELETE page, press F2 (NUMBER). This will delete all
programs sharing the same number as is shown in the top right of the screen. If the program
number shown on the top line is not the one you wish to delete, use the DATA wheel to select
the program number you wish to delete. Pressing F1 (NUMBER) will display this prompt:
Press F1 to delete the program or F2 to cancel to procedure.
NOTE: Please be careful here. If the programs you are deleting are not saved, they will be lost
forever should you proceed and press F1 (GO).
