EFFECTS EDIT
S2000 Operator’s Manual - Version 1.30 Page 197
SWITCHING OUT THE ‘DIRECT’ SIGNAL
There are some effects where it is desirable to switch the ‘direct’ signal from the program out of
the effects chain (for example, distortion, rotary speaker and autopan effects). This is done on
the next page down:
The parameter may be switched ON or OFF using the DATA wheel.
As mentioned, effects like rotary speaker require only the effected signal to be heard
otherwise you won’t hear the effect properly (i.e. the effect will be whizzing back and forth
between left and right but the ‘direct’ signal will still be heard in the centre detracting from the
effect). Likewise, autopan and distortion should not allow the direct signal through.
