Cause The on board self-test circuitry indicates that an essential function of the 1643
AM/ 1643 AMS system has failed.
In previous releases of the 1643 AMS (releases prior to release 5.0), this alarm
may also indicate a failure of an SFP module.
Actions In previous releases of the 1643 AMS, first check the SFP modules, or, if
necessary, replace the 1643 AM/ 1643 AMS system.
