5.2 Measuring FP-LD (Fabry-Perot Laser Diode)
A Fabry-Perot laser diode is a semiconductor laser diode with a multi
mode oscillation in the spectrum.
The following items can be measured by the FP-LD measurement
functions.
Peak: Peak wavelength and peak level
Mean Wl: Center wavelength
FWHM: Spectral width using RMS method (2.35

)
Total Power: Spectrum integration power
Mode ( n dB): Number of longitudinal modes
Mode Spacing: Interval between longitudinal modes

: Standard deviation of spectrum using RMS
method
