5.5.5 Procedures
To measure WDM
1. When the name of the

to display the measurement result display field.
3. Input the optical signal.
4. Set the wavelength, resolution, and level scale.
5. Press

to start the measurement.

9. Set the following items in the dialog box:
S.Level: A range of 0.1 to 50.0 dB can be input.
Search Threshold: A range of 0.01 to 10.0 dB can be input.
Wavelength-Detection Type: When Threshold is set, Threshold Cut
Level is used to detect wavelength. Input the Threshold Cut Level in
the range of 0.1 to 50 dB.
Level-Detection Type: When ΣPower is set, Signal Span is used to
calculate power. Input Signal Span in the range of 0.01 to 50.00 nm.
10. Press
f7 Set
to update the value in the measurement result field.
11. When not wanting to display any wavelength data on the screen,
press
f1 Next Page
or
f2 Last Page

to finish the WDM measurement.
