Chapter 5 Measurement Functions
5-32
To set Noise Level when SNR displayed
1. Press
f5 Noise Parameter
.
2. Set the following items in the dialog box:
Normalization: When On is set, Noise BW is used to calculate
noise level. Input a value for Noise BW in the
range of 0.1 to 1.0 nm.
Detection Type: Sets Area or Point.
Area: When Area is set at Detection Type, set the
fitting curve and measurement area.
Point: When Point is set at Detection Type, set the
measurement position.
3. Press
f7 Set
to update the value in the measurement result display
field.
4. When Point is set at Detection Type in step 2, press
f6 Noise Position
when setting the wavelength difference for measuring noise.
When Area is set at Detection Type,
f6 Noise Position
cannot be set.
5. Input the wavelength difference (Noise Position) using the keypad or
the rotary knob. The setting range is 0.01 to 20.0 nm.
The value in the measurement display field is displayed.
6. When setting the wavelength difference, press
f1 On
.
When not setting the wavelength difference, press
f2 Off
.
To set reference wavelength and display range when Relative displayed
1. Press
f5 Ref No
.
2. Set the reference wavelength number using the keypad or the rotary
knob. Input a value from 1 to the Peak Count.
When setting the wavelength number, the marker moves to the
wavelength and level for that number and the values in the
measurement results display field are updated.
3. Press
f6 Top Page No
.
4. Set the wavelength number to be displayed in the top line of the
measurement results using the keypad or the rotary knob. Input a
value from 1 to the Peak Count.
When setting the wavelength number, up to five measurement
results from that number are displayed.
