The light source used by pulse method is digitally modulated at a higher
frequency (≤ 500 kHz) than the optical amplifier power control frequency.
Normally, the modulation signal duty ratio is 50%.
Adjust the output level of the signal generator to maximize the extinction
ratio of the light source.
