7.3 Replacement of Optical Connector
The standard optical connector is the FC type. The optical connector of
the plug-in unit and pull-out type optical sensor can be removed and
replaced with another connector (sold separately), and its interior can be
cleaned. For more information about the connector type, refer to Figure
7.3-1 Connector Type.

WARNING
Do not look into the connection surface of the optical fiber
cable of the light source optical connector or the end face
of the optical fiber cable connected to the light source as
invisible laser light output may cause visual deficits and
other problems.
CAUTION
Before replacing the optical fiber cable, be sure not to
damage the connector and connection surface with
connector.
