2.11 Configuring Storage Media
The MS9740B has a built-in hard disk for storing the operating system,
application software, user data, etc.
The MS9740B hard disk is partitioned as follows:
Volume C: System Partition
The following files are saved:
Windows
Application software
File required for operation
The MS9740B may not operate normally if data required for
operations are changed or deleted. Normally, do not change data on
this volume.
Volume D: Data Partition
This volume is used mainly as the file input and output destination
for the waveform data and measurement environment of the
MS9740B application software.
The analyzer files are saved to D:\Anritsu Corporation\Optical Spectrum
Analyzer\User Data.
This file is created when pressing the
f4 Save CSV
or
f5 Save XML
button.
For the operating procedures, refer to 3.8.1 “Saving Measurement
Conditions and Waveform Data”.
Note the following when operating the MS9740B:
Do not change the partition configuration. The MS9740B may not
operate normally.
Do not format the hard disk.
