4.5.5 Analyzing Multiple Spectrum Center Wavelength and Spectrum
Width (RMS Method)
In the RMS method, the center wavelength and standard deviation (σ) are
found from the spectrum with a level exceeding the slice level. The value
of the standard deviation (σ) multiplier (k) is displayed as the spectrum
half width.
1. Press
f5 RMS
.
2. Either select the k multiplier for the standard deviation (σ) using the
f1
to
f5
keys or input the value using the rotary knob or keypad. The
input multipliers are 1.00 to 10.00.
3. Press
f6 S.Level
.
4. Enter the slice level value using the rotary knob or keypad.
The cut level input range is 0.1 to 50 dB.
5. The ratio, center wavelength λc,spectrum width kσ are displayed.
