show ports
Purpose Used to display the current configuration of a range of ports.
Syntax
show ports {<portlist>} {[description | err_disabled]}
Description This command is used to display the current configuration of a range
of ports.
Parameters
<portlist> Specifies a port or range of ports to be displayed.
description – Adding this parameter to the command will allow the
user to view previously configured descriptions set on various ports
on the Switch.
err_disabled – Used to view information about ports that have had
their connection status disabled, for reasons such as STP loopback
detection or link down status.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To display the configuration of ports 1-5 on the Switch:
DES-3026:4#show ports 1-5
Command: show ports 1-5
Port Port Settings Connection Address
State Speed/Duplex/FlowCtrl Speed/Duplex/FlowCtrl Learning
--- -------- --------------------- --------------------- --------
1 Enabled Auto/Enabled 100/Full/none Enabled
2 Enabled Auto/Enabled Link Down Enabled
