Syntax
disable snmp authenticate trap
Description This command is used to disable SNMP authentication support on
the Switch.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example Usage:
To disable the SNMP authentication trap support:
DES-3026:4#disable snmp authenticate trap
Command: disable snmp authenticate trap
Success.

show snmp traps
Purpose Used to show SNMP trap support on the Switch .
Syntax
show snmp traps
Description This command is used to view the SNMP trap support status
currently configured on the Switch.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To view the current SNMP trap support:
DES-3026:4#show snmp traps
Command: show snmp traps
SNMP Traps : Enabled
Authenticate Trap : Enabled
