MOUNTING FLEXIBLE CABLES
Matrix 220 Flexible Cables are used for Power and Ethernet connection to Datalogic
Matrix 220 reader and are especially designed for linear and torsion moving applica-
tions, unsupported travel distances, and up to 10 m in gliding applications.
They offer the following features:
oil resistant
operating temperature: -15 to 70 °C
PVC-free, halogen-free, flame retardant
CE, RoHs-II, cURus, NFPA, EAC & TR (CTP)
UL certification (Ethernet cable only)
The figures below give the overall dimensions of the cables and may be used for their

tallation on a Matrix 220 reader with connectors positioned at 0° and 90°.

Configurations with Power cable (Figure 40 and Figure 41) or Power +
Ethernet cables (Figure 44 and Figure 45) are not supported by Power
over Ethernet (PoE) models.
PoE models only accept configuration with Ethernet cable (Figure 42 and
Figure 43).
Matrix 220 flexible cables must be clamped at a minimum distance of
245 mm from the Matrix reader, as shown in the figures below. Make
sure that the Matrix reader and the cable clamping connectors are fixed
to a rigid frame.
