Resolving the Remove Ribbon Message (Rewriteable Job)
All Troubleshooting procedures assume that only factory-authorized supplies are in use in
the Printer.
Step Procedure
1 Review the following information.
• Symptom: An error message will be displayed when a rewriteable job is
submitted to the Printer and there is a Ribbon in the Printer.
• Printer Error State: The error message will instruct the user to remove
the ribbon from the printer.
• Driver Monitor Error Display: None
