the Model 395 builds the noise waveform the screen displays a message, see

AIso, while running noise, set the noise sample
dock
rate by pressing the FREQUENCY
key and program the rate between 100 mHz and 100 MHz. The Frequency screen aIso
displays the actual bandwidth. Varying the sample
dock
changes the bandwidth start
and stop frequencies. While the start and stop frequencies will change with the sample
dock,
the recommended method
of
changing them is
via
the Setup screens.
To
vary the amplitude, press the AMPLITUDE key and enter the level
in
units
of
Vp-
p
or
Vp. Analog noise operates in continuous, triggered, and gated modes,
but
cannot
operate in the sweep mode.
