Remove the two screws (see circles).
▶
Get the SAS expander board out of the two connectors of the HDD
backplane and remove it.
CAUTION
▶
Lift up the SAS expander board while removing it in order to
prevent the components to be damaged by the stand-offs (see A
in
Figure 107) of the chassis.

Insert the SAS expander board into the two connectors of the HDD
backplane.
CAUTION
▶
Lift up the SAS expander board while inserting it in order to
prevent the components to be damaged by the stand-offs of the
chassis.
▶
Fasten the SAS expander board with two screws (see circles).
