ventilation
Manual inspiration The Bag/Vent switch on the breathing system closes the ventilator
path.
Gas flows from the bag into the breathing circuit module, through the
absorber, and through a unidirectional valve (inspiratory check valve)
to the patient.
During inspiration, common gas flows from the machine into the
inspiratory limb, upstream of the inspiratory check valve.
