12.2.3 Measuring currents
The GN310B/GN311B card offers 3 current channels using a 4-pin LEMO connector.
The current channels offer two ways of measuring current:
1. Current as current input to two built-in shunt resistors.
Typically used for current transducer measurements.
2. Current as voltage input.
Typically used for current probe measurements.

Characteristics current channel:
● The input Lemo connector outer shell is connected to the system ground for
shielding purposes.
● The isolated ground is externally accessible and is current return line, as shown in
Fig. 12.6
