3. Unhook the lifter-drive-assembly tension-spring from the tab on the chassis. Remove one screw
(callout 1), and then remove the sheet metal bracket.
CAUTION The lifter-drive-assembly tension-spring is not captive. Do not lose the spring
when you remove the assembly.

4. Remove the wire harnesses from the wire guides, remove six screws (callout 2), and then
remove the drive-gear assembly.
