Scanner assembly
CAUTION Do not remove the scanner glass. Any repairs to scanner parts under the scanner
glass require a complete scanner-assembly replacement. There are no individual service
parts under the scanner glass.
1. Remove the ADF assembly.
2. Raise the scanner, and remove the front-edge flange.

3. Remove two screws (callout 1), and remove the scanner-carriage-lock cover (callout 2).
