SETTINGS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Engine oil replacement and bag lters-cartridge lter cleaning or replace-
ment
Drain the oil with WARM ENGINE; proceed as follows:
- remove oil ller cap (2);
- even if not necessary, remove the engine guard (A);
- place an oil drain pan under the engine block;
- remove the oil drain cap (3), drain the used oil completely then clean the
magnet on the cap;
- remove the three lters (5), (6) and (7) on the L.H. side of the engine, check
O-Rings for wear then clean lters with fuel.
Reassemble using the reverse procedure.
In order to replace the lter cartridge (4), unscrew the three fastening screws
then the lter cartridge cover;
- after lters replacement, reassemble the drain cap (3), the engine guard (A)
then pour the recommended oil quantity.
Reassemble, on engine L.H. side, lter (5-4) (8 Nm-0,8 Kgm-5.8 ft/lb) e (6) (25
Nm-2,55 Kgm-18.4 ft/lb) ed inferiormente il tappo (2) scarico olio (25 Nm-2,55
Kgm-18.4 ft/lb).
Be careful not to touch hot engine oil.
