SETTINGS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Adjusting the front fork (TC 450, TE 310 USA, TE-TXC 450-510)
a) COMPRESSION (TC, TXC: UPPER REGISTER; TE: LOWER REGISTER)
Taratura standard: -10 clicks (TE); -7 clicks (TC-TXC).
To reset the standard calibration, turn register (A) clockwise until the position
of fully closed is reached then, turn back by the mentioned clicks.To obtain a
smoother braking action, turn the register anticlockwise. Reverse the operation
in order to obtain a harder action.
b) EXTENSION (TC, TXC: LOWER REGISTER; TE: UPPER REGISTER)
Standard calibration: -10 clicks (TE); -13 clicks (TC-TXC).
To reset standard calibration turn register (C) clockwise to reach the position
of fully closed; then, turn back by the mentioned clicks. To obtain a smoother
braking action, turn the register anticlockwise. Reverse the operation in order
to obtain a harder action.
c) AIR VENT (to carry out after each competition, or monthly).
Set the motorcycle on its central stand, fully extend the fork and loosen the valve
(B). Tighten the valve after this operation.
: WARNING: Never force the adjusting screws beyond the maximum open-
ing and closure positions.
