2.6.1 Pulse Converter (Model: AK-04)
The pulse converter converts command pulses in the open collector mode to those in the
differential mode.
Use this converter if the host controller sends output pulses in the open collector mode.

Caution
● Use the pulse converter in the surrounding temperature range between 0°C and 40°C.
● The temperature increase of about 30°C occurs during operation. Accordingly, neither
install several pulse converters in close contact nor install them within a duct. Do not
install the pulse converter near other heating devices.
● If more than one pulse converter are installed, set a pulse converter apart from another
by 10mm or more.
● The device is not available for connection to a PNP pulse train type (Model Code: PLP)
controller.

* A dedicated cable should be used when the absolute battery unit is to be connected to a

Caution
● Please have the battery charged for more than 72 hours before using for the first time
or after replacing with a new one. The battery gets charged while the controller is
supplied with 24V power.
● It is possible to retain the encoder data for the duration shown below for each hour of
battery charge.
