2.2.3 Pulse Train Control Mode (PCON-CB/CBP I/O Type: PLN and PLP)
Switching between the positioner mode and the pulse train control mode should be available in
the parameters for the pulse train control type (I/O type PLN and PLP) in PCON-CB.
There are two types of control systems in the pulse train control mode. Set the most suitable
PIO pattern in Parameter No. 25 "Select PIO Pattern".
Also, switching between the positioner mode and the pulse train control mode should be
available in the parameters for the pulse train control type of PCON-CB. There should be six
types of PIO patterns available to select from in accordance with the parameters in the
positioner mode.
Refer to [3.2.3 Wiring] for wiring in the pulse train control and [4.3 Pulse Train Control Mode] for
details of how to operate and the main features.

2.2.4 Field Network Operation Modes and Features
In the field network, there are following operation modes available to select from and used for
operation. (Motion network excluded)
Operation should be made by writing the data necessary for operation (target position, velocity,
acceleration, pressing current, etc.) to the specified addresses from a host connected device
such as PLC.
[1] Operation Modes and Functions
The field network type PCON-CB/CFB/CBP should make operation by selecting a mode from
the following eight operation modes.
