BLEEDING AIR FROM MOTOR
Travel Motor
1. Start the engine and run it at low idling.
2. Loosen air bleed plug (2) of the travel motor 1-2 turns.
Loosen the air bleed plugs for both the motors.
3. When no more milky white oil comes out from air bleed
plug (2) of the travel motor, tighten the plug.
This completes the air bleed operation.
Tightening torque: 8.83 ± 0.98 Nm (0.9 ± 0.1 kgm)
Swing Motor
1. Start the engine and run it at low idling.
2. Repeat swinging and braking operation 5 to 6 times.
BLEEDING AIR FROM SWING HOLDING BRAKE CIRCUIT
After the removal and installation of the swing motor and the disconnection and connection of the swing holding
brake circuit piping, bleed air from the brake circuit in the following manner.
If air is not bled at all, or bled but insufficiently, there is a possibility that the machine starts up with the
parking brake still applied. Therefore, be sure to bleed air from the circuit.
1. Start up the engine and loosen bleeder (1).
REMARK
A bleeder is provided for both the front and rear swing motors.
2. Turn the swing lock switch to the OFF position.
3. Make a swing while keeping the engine running at low idling, check that oil free of air bubbles begins to flow
out of bleeder (1) and then tighten the bleeder.
Tightening torque: 8.8 - 9.8 Nm (0.9 - 1.0 kgm)
