Method of Adding Fuel 6
q Fuel causes fire, so be extremely careful not to let the fuel overflow when filling with fuel. If any fuel
spills, wipe it off completely. If it spills onto the ground, remove the soil that is contaminated with fuel.
q Fuel is a dangerous substance that catches fire easily, so never bring it near to any flame or fire.
q Before adding fuel, lower the work equipment to the ground, stop the engine, and set the lock lever to
the LOCK position.
1. Remove the cap of fuel coupler (1) and connect the force-
feed pump coupler securely.
2. Start to fill with fuel.
Fuel tank capacity: 3,409.6 liter
3. After completing the filling of fuel, remove the force-feed
pump coupler.
4. Install the cap to the coupler.
Method of Adding Grease 6
1. Remove the cap of grease coupler (1) and connect the
force-feed pump coupler securely.
2. Open force-feed pump basic pressure valve (2) (or start
the grease force-feed pump), and add grease.
3. When lamp (3) lights up red to show that the adding of
grease has been completed, tighten basic pressure valve
(2). (Or stop the grease force-feed pump.)
4. Press remaining pressure release switch (4) and bleed the
remaining pressure inside supply hose.
5. Install the cap to the coupler.
After the completion of adding grease, the lamp lights up red to
show that the adding of grease has been completed, and at the
same time, the shut-off valve on the machine closes and the
supply of grease stops automatically.
Releasing the remaining pressure from inside the grease sup-
ply hose may take several seconds or several tens of seconds.
Keep pressing the remaining pressure release switch until the
coupler can be removed.
