Service brake
The tractor's trailer control valve is used to
operate the service brake hydraulically.

When the tractor brake pedal is actuated,
the hydraulic ram (2) extends. The hydrau-
lic ram (2) pushes the brake lever (1) into
the brake position.
Service brake diagram, non-braked
After braking, the tension spring (3) ret-
racts the brake lever (1).
The braking system is thus released.
