146 Lynx II DSA User's Manual - 7096089
SPACING
Defines the separation in the number of channels between the two windows used by the
stabilization algorithm. Range is 2 to 512 channels.
CENTROID
Sets the reference channel number within the PHA spectrum as the focal point for the
stabilization algorithm. Its value must be within the current limits of the PHA spectrum.
More specifically:
• Minimum CENTROID = (MINCH + WINDOW + (SPACING/2))
• Maximum CENTROID = (MAXCH – WINDOW – (SPACING/2))
Where MINCH is the minimum spectrum channel number (1) and MAXCH is the
maximum spectrum channel number defined by the Input Size.
RATIO MODE
Defines the mode of operation for the stabilizer algorithm. Can be set to MANUAL where
the reference ratio is determined by the MANUAL RATIO setting or AUTOMATIC
where the reference ratio is automatically calculated by the Lynx II. Default is
AUTOMATIC.
MANUAL RATIO
Defines the reference ratio used by the stabilization algorithm when the RATIO MODE is
set to MANUAL. Ranges from 0.00 to 100.00.
RESET
Resets pending stabilizer fault conditions.
Sample Changer Control
READY
Read-only parameter that reflects the status or the rear panel’s CHGR RDY input. When a
Start Acquire command for PHA or MCS input is received, the start of acquisition storage
for that inputs will be deferred until READY=1. Polarity is selectable through the READY
POLARITY setting.
With polarity set to POSITIVE, READY=1 when a TTL-high signal (or no connection) is
at the CHGR RDY input. With polarity set to NEGATIVE, READY=1 when a TTL-low
signal is at the CHGR RDY input.
READY POLARITY
Controls the interpretation of the CHANGER READY read-only parameter. Can be set to
POSITIVE (default) or NEGATIVE. See CHANGER READY above for details.
