130 Lynx II DSA User's Manual - 7096089
• Local Time displays your local computer’s date and time.
• System Time displays the Lynx II’s date and time. This field is dynamically
updated approximately every 2-3 seconds.
− Synchronize: Clicking on this button will transfer your computer’s local date
and time to the Lynx II. A small lag in time is normal because of command
processing and communication transit times.
• Delta displays the difference between the Lynx II’s date and time and your local
computer’s date and time. This field is dynamically updated every 2-3 seconds.
Small variations in the reported delta between updates are expected because of
command processing and communication transit times.
• Device Log: The Device log contains an audit of all changes and events that
occurred on the device. Clicking the Download button opens the log file in a new
browser tab. Clicking the Clear button will delete all the entries in the log and start
a new log with an entry indicating the log was cleared. Note that the browser cache
may need to be cleared before requesting the log again to see the cleared log.
• Save Spectrum: Saves the spectrum that is currently displayed to CAM and ANSI
42.N42-2012 files. A publickey.pem file and a .signature.sha256 file are included
that can be used by a utility such as openSSL to validate the integrity of the archive
file. The files are encapsulated within an archive that is automatically downloaded
to the host PC’s Downloads folder. Use a utility such as 7-Zip to extract the files
from the archive file. For more details see the Saving Spectrum Data in N42 and
CAM Formats appendix on page 190.
Print Spectrum
This option lets you view and print the current spectral plot and acquisition information.
Clicking the menu option immediately displays a Print dialog that allows selecting one of
the print devices or utilities available on the host PC to which to send the spectral plot.
The Print dialog is a standard Print dialog that provides options for selecting a print device
and formatting the output.
