Mitel 6940 SIP Phone User Guide
The following table identifies the applicable default states for each softkey type on the IP phone.
In the Mitel Web UI, the operational states for each softkey display as enabled. To disable a state,
simply uncheck the box for the respective state.
Softkey Display Behavior
On the 6940 IP phone, you can configure up to 48 (top) and 30 (bottom) functions on the softkeys.
By default, if you have no softkeys configured on the IP phone, and you assign softkey functions to
higher number keys in the Mitel Web UI, the key functions automatically appear in the first available
position on the LCD display.
For example, if top softkeys 1 through 48 are set to
