Words Displayed on Continuous Monitor Screen
Words that can be displayed on the device monitor function Continuous Monitor Screen depend on the
PLC model. These word areas are shown in the following table.

Error Information Screen Functions and Usage
Error Information Screens read error information from PLC (information for current errors) and display
this information in a list in order of priority. Also, the highest priority error can be cleared from the list of
current errors.
Information for up to 40 errors can be displayed at one time for the NS15, information for up to 30 er-
rors can be displayed at one time for the NS12, information for up to 22 errors can be displayed at one
time for the NS10 or NS8, and information for up to 7 errors can be displayed at one time for the NS5. If
more than the maximum number of errors have occurred, further errors will not be displayed until the
highest priority errors have been cleared.

1 Host name Press Host name to display the PLC Selection Dialog Box and select the PLC. Host
names set using CX-Designer can be selected.
2 Mode Press Mode to display the Change Mode Dialog Box. Switches to the specified PLC
mode.
3 Remove Clears the highest priority error (displayed at the top left of the display area) from the
group of current errors. When an error is cleared, the error information is also cleared
from the display area. However, the same error will occur again straight away unless
the cause of the error is eliminated on the PLC.
4 Error content Reads current PLC error information and displays the errors in order of priority. The
display is refreshed if a new error occurs while the error information is being displayed.
