MP Multipathing. See also multipathing.
MPxIO Multipathing I/O. An Oracle Solaris feature enabling you to configure the multipathing features
of FC devices to control all supported FC HBAs.
multipathing Multipathing software enables you to define and control redundant physical paths to I/O
devices such as storage devices and network interfaces.

NET MGT Network management. The NET MGT ports provide Ethernet connections to the SPs.
Dedicated SPARC M7-16 server NET MGT ports connect the four SPPs to the two SPs.

OpenBoot Oracle firmware that enables a PDomain to boot the Oracle Solaris OS. Provides an interface
for testing hardware and software interactively.
Oracle ILOM Oracle Integrated Lights Out Manager. The system management firmware that is preinstalled
on the server SPs.
Oracle VTS Oracle Validation Test Suite. An application that exercises the system, provides hardware
validation, and identifies possible faulty components.
