x MODULARIS only:
The tightening force of the docking plate of 18 Nm must be followed (see service
instructions for MODULARIS)
SIREPHOS cover 0
NOTE
The SIREPHOS is surrounded by a C-arm cover to adapt it to
the form of the C-arm. This cover is sealed all around with a
sealing compound (20 49 716) to prevent any contamination
of the unit by the SIREPHOS or the C-arm.
x Loosen the 4 cover screws of the surrounding C-arm housing.
x Use a sharp knife to cut open the sealing compound all the way around the cover.
x Lift off the C-arm cover. The 3 cover screws of the SIREPHOS cover are now accessi-
ble.
x Remove the sealing compound residue from the C-arm cover, the SIREPHOS cover
and the C-arm.
x Loosen the 3 cover screws of the SIREPHOS cover.
x Lift off the cover.
x On completing service, place the SIREPHOS cover on the SIREPHOS.
x Refasten the SIREPHOS cover with the 3 cover screws.
x Reattach the C-arm cover and seal it all around with sealing compound.
x Use a paper towel to wipe off any excess sealing compound.
x Refasten the C-arm cover with the 4 cover screws.
Installing/removing the C-arm covers 0
WARNING
Risk of injury on mechanical parts!
If these guidelines are not followed, minor to moderate injury,
especially to the hands, can occur.
¹ Follow the notes concerning the C-arm carbon fiber
structure.
