Slot diaphragm 5.8
NOTE
Use the lowest KV values possible to ensure optimal detec-
tion of the front edges of the slot diaphragm blades.
Prerequisites
x The setting of the camera rotation is correctly adjusted and is in the 0° position.
x Mark the circle mask diameter in the upper left corner and lower right corner on the
screen of monitor A.
x Connect the service PC to the serial interface of the SIREMOBIL.
x Start the service program.
x Select the "Adjustments, Calibrations..." menu. Answer the query with "Yes".
x Select "SCREEN DISPLAY SLOT DIAPHRAGM" in the "Function Groups:" combo box.
Disable circle mask 0
x Switch off zoom.
x In the "Available Functions:" window, select "DISABLE CIRCLE MASK" and click "Exe-
cute". Close the status window by clicking the OK button. For the query "Do you want to
reset the Unit", click "No".
Start adjustment 0
x In the "Available Functions:" window select "INIT" and click "Execute". Close the status
window by clicking the OK button. For the query "Do you want to reset the Unit", click
"No".
Full format, slot diaphragm open 0
x Move the camera into the 0 degree position. The X-Iris opens to survey format. To open
it farther, use the keys for opening the X-Iris. The slot diaphragm is opened automati-
cally.
X
x Apply fluoro briefly.
x Open and close the slot diaphragm display via the keys.
x Align the lines shown on the monitor with the front edges of the slot diaphragm blades.
x In the window "Available Functions:" select "Slot Diaphragm Open Pos - I.I. Full For-
mat" and click "Execute".
x Close the status window by clicking the OK button.
x Respond to the query "Do you want to reset the unit" by clicking "No". The slot dia-
phragm is closed automatically.
