NOTE
If the maximum tube current has been reduced already, the
displayed mA value at 110 kV must be recorded and used for
the calculation.
The maximum air kerma rate must be less than or equal to 45
mGy/min.
Measurement 0
X x Switch on fluoroscopy.
x Read and note down the displayed value on the dose rate meter.
(mGy/s * 60 = mGy/min)
x If the value measured exceeds 45 mGy/min, the maximum tube current must be
reduced. If the value measured is equal to or less than 45 mGy/min, the tube current
does not need to be reduced.
x Switch fluoroscopy off.
x Calculate the maximum tube current

x Attach the dose measurement cham-
ber at a distance of 30 cm from the I.I.
housing ((Fig. 19 / p. 49)).
x Select the FL curves S2, HC2, or
IODINE, according to the program-
ming (push key).
If necessary, program one of these
curves temporarily.
x Briefly release fluoro.
x Select kV stop mode and enter
110 kV (5 mA).
