CAUTION

Noncompliance can lead to minor to medium injury and/or
property damage.
The C-arm covers contain counterbalance weights and weigh
approx. 6 kg.
¹ Hold the covers firmly when installing or removing
them.
¹ Before the C-arm cover is loosened, the C-arm must be
moved to its middle orbital position. If the C-arm cov-
ers are loosened, the C-arm may not be moved to its
orbital end positions (I.I. or SIREPHOS at the orbital
end position).
Fig. 7:
x Remove the 4 mounting screws (Fig.7/p.23). Hold the covers firmly while removing
them.
x Install them using the same procedure in the reverse order.

Removing the covers
x Remove the upper back cover plate of the logbook compartment.
x Remove the protective conductor.
x Remove the lateral Allen screws from the lower back cover.
x Remove the protective conductor from the cover.
Installing the covers
x Begin with the lower back cover.
x Reattach the protective conductor for the lower cover.
x Install the cover and tighten the screws.
x Reattach the protective conductor for the upper back cover plate.
